Taking the off the mast

Right after it warmed up we got ready to take down the mast. The plan is to carry the boat to the house so were its going to get a cleaning some paint and start with more ambitious projects.

We used the crane to help us lift the mast but it was quite a job for two people not because of the weight but it was awfully awkward to handle it. I then decided that a tabernacle could be so much better and practical

Here Platero is ready to start the work but the trailer would not make it home. I needed to leave the boat in the water and take the trailer to fix some rollers and ck bearings. Also a good paint would be nice.
